General Questions
Q. What is IEMJEE/IEMCET?
A. IEMJEE and IEMCET are entrance examinations conducted by the IEM-UEM Group for admission into various courses offered by the institutions.

Q. Who can appear for IEMJEE/IEMCET?
A. Students aspiring to pursue B.Tech or B.Tech (Lateral) can appear for the IEMJEE examination. For other courses such as BBA, BCA, BHM, BBA-LLB, MCA, M.Tech etc., students are eligible to appear for the IEMCET examination.

Q. Is this entrance exam valid for both IEM and UEM campuses?
A. Yes, this entrance examination is valid for both IEM and UEM campuses.

Q. What courses are offered through this entrance exam?
A. IEMJEE is conducted for admission to B.Tech & B.Tech (Lateral) courses.
IEMCET is conducted for courses such as BBA, BCA, BHM, BBA-LLB, BPT, M.Tech, MBA (For UEM Jaipur) and MCA.
Q. What documents are required during the application process?
A. Applicants need to upload their photograph and signature in JPEG/PNG format. They should also keep their Class 10th and 12th mark sheets ready while filling out the form.

Q. Can I edit my application after submission?
A. Only personal details can be updated after submission. The exam date or exam schedule cannot be changed.
Q. What is the mode of examination – online or offline?
A.The examination is conducted in both online and offline modes. The online mode is a Computer-Based Test (CBT).

Q. What is the syllabus for the exam?
A. IEMJEE:
B.Tech: Syllabus follows the JEE Main pattern. A total of 90 questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. B.Tech (Lateral): The syllabus and mode of the exam will be the same as the WB JELET examination.

IEMCET:
BCA/BBA: Students may prepare from standard books on General Knowledge, Aptitude, and Spoken English.
M.Tech: Students should refer to GATE sample papers; the pattern will match GATE.
MCA: Students can prepare using WB JECA sample papers.
MBA: Students should prepare using CAT sample papers.

Q. What is the duration of the exam?
A. Online Mode: 2 hours, Offline Mode: 3 hours

A. Yes, negative marking is applicable.

Q. Can I choose my exam date?
A. Yes, students can choose their preferred date and time slot.
Q. When will the admit card be available?
A. Students can download the admit card immediately after submitting the online application form.
